GR-1000EX-4 – Longest boom length in its class

Offering a class leading 51-m maximum boom length, the new Tadano GR-1000EX-4’s synchronized telescopic boom system extends to full boom length in just 170 seconds. When equipped with its 2-stage bifold jib, the GR-1000EX-4 delivers a maximum 68.3-m lift height and 54-m radius for ultimate lifting flexibility.  

Its self-rigging 11.2-tonne counterweight features the two-position Smart Counterweight system to deliver max lift capacity in the rear position and minimum tail swing in forward. Smart Chart operating mode boosts lift potential at congested jobsites by determine lift capacity based on boom and outrigger positioning when the outriggers cannot be fully extended.

Even though it’s the largest rough terrain crane in the line, the GR-1000EX-4 features an overall height of just 3,805 mm and width of 3,315 mm to simplify transportation. Cameras monitoring the winch drum, rear and right front area of the crane and can be displayed on the large, multifunction touchscreen display to simplify crane operation and improve work area visibility. Its powerful 209 kW engine with 1,152 Nm torque delivers consistent and reliable operation at the jobsite, even with challenging ground conditions.
