HK 4.050-1

Hop in and lift away: Discover the HK 4.050-1.

If one were to describe the new HK 4.050-1 on the spot, it would be as a true Tadano through and through. If one were to describe how maneuverable it is, one would say it is able to turn pretty much on the spot. This is thanks to a tridem rear axle with a steered trailing axle, which reduces the four-axle unit’s turn radius by up to 2 m in comparison to its predecessors and the competition. In addition, two drive axles provide optimum tractive force.

No special permits are required in order to travel with a counterweight of up to 4.5 tonnes aboard, and the crane can be driven with a counterweight of up to 32 tonnes within truck weight limits. And it feels perfectly truck-like as a result of the compact main boom as well: The low vehicle center of gravity and the air-ride rear axles ensure a comfortable handling performance with extraordinary stability.

In addition, there is the intuitive and convenient AML-C crane control system with its outrigger pressure monitoring capabilities. Thanks to H-style outriggers and five outrigger bases, the HK 4.050-1 can easily do its work at challenging work sites as well. An optional trailer can be used to haul additional crane equipment and counterweight.

All of this makes the highly maneuverable Tadano HK 4.050-1 an uncomplicated all-purpose tool.
